The Art of Confidence

How you hold yourself in public says a lot about your self-image.  Making eye contact, the posture of your head and shoulders, commanding personal space, and verbal recognition sets the stage for your interactions.

Predators are looking for victims that are distracted and have poor self-image.  Talking or texting on the phone, arms overloaded with bags, looking distressed or at the ground, walking alone in secluded areas, as well as the time of day can be factors for assault.

Be secure in who you really are, and get comfortable in your own skin. Be real with yourself.  In the face of adversity standing strong and holding your ground. Be an active participant and engage with your surroundings.
